No. This is a completely pain free treatment. The treatment may feel slightly warm in some places.

There are no significant side effects following treatment. You may have some slight redness and your skin may feel somewhat tight. No visual recovery time is required after this treatment.

Following your treatment, the channels in the skin are open so it is important that nothing is applied to the skin for 12 hours other than what I put on you post treatment.

The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition being treated, skin laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual's response to the treatment. Most clients can see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. Further treatments can be done for individuals seeking better results, although it is uncommon to require more than two treatments. Appointments for a second treatment on the same area must be spaced at 8 weeks apart.

Plasma Pen Skin Tightening is more than a simple tightening treatment. The skin is actually removed, so effects last as long as they would with invasive surgery. Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of plasma treatment are not entirely permanent as it does not stop any further aging from occurring. The positive results should last years depending on the area being treated, individual lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, prolonged sun exposure and how each individual cares for their skin after treatment.
The positive effects of the treatment will be immediately noticeable after the first treatment and best results will be seen after 4 weeks with continuous improvement up to 12 weeks. For some, an additional treatment may be required for maximum results. Those seeking treatment should be aware that race and genetics can also have an effect on the length of beneficial effects. Plasma Pro Skin Tightening has been shown to be a safe treatment due to its non-invasive nature. Still, the majority of clients are likely to experience some minor side effects in the first week to 10 days following treatment. There will be tiny brown scabs that appear as dots. These are carbon crusts that typically flake away within the first 4-5 days. However on some individuals it could take 7-10 days for all the flaking to be complete. The skin revealed beneath is fresh new pink skin. Some swelling may be present (especially in eyelid treatments) but it is likely to occur between day 2-5 after treatment. A full aftercare treatment is required for all clients and MUST be followed to avoid any hyperpigmentation or scarring.
